On this site it is always raining: over the lakes and valleys of the Tatras, the gorges of Little Fatra and Slovak Paradise, castles and rivers of Slovakia, and further away Prague, Lviv, Tokyo, Bergen, Edinburgh, Hanoi, a cloud forest in Costa Rica and the Scottish Highlands. Each scene is a photograph of the place with animated rain, storm, wind and mist drawn over it.

You can adjust the volume and the strength of the rain, the storm, the wind and the mist. A window mode puts drops running down glass in front of the view. The weather can change by itself, and so can the place, on a timer. The sound is either recorded rain or a synthesized version, and a sleep timer turns it off. Each real place also shows its current weather forecast.

The site runs in the browser in full screen, free, with no ads and no registration. People use it to relax, to fall asleep, to focus on work or simply as steady background noise.
