The Hornád River Gorge is the longest canyon in Slovak Paradise National Park in eastern Slovakia. The river has cut a winding passage through the limestone between Hrabušice and Čingov, with forest growing on steep walls on both sides. Where the banks are too steep for a path, the trail continues on steel steps, chains and footbridges fixed to the rock just above the water.

From the top of the cliffs, the Tomášovský výhľad viewpoint looks down over the river and the gorge. The valley is often damp and shaded. In rain the river turns brown and quick, the rock walls darken, and the metal walkways are wet and cold, so the gorge sounds mostly of water.
