Suchá Belá is one of the most visited gorges of Slovak Paradise National Park. It starts near Podlesok, close to Hrabušice, and climbs through a narrow cleft in limestone, with a string of small waterfalls along the stream. The trail uses ladders, footbridges, steps and chains, and it runs one way only, uphill, so walkers do not meet on the ladders.

The walls are pitted with hollows and small caves, and from inside a cave mouth the gorge looks like a green frame of moss and wet rock. The gorge stays cool and shaded. In rain the waterfalls grow, every ladder runs with water, and the light in the narrows turns soft and grey.
