The Roháče Lakes are four glacial lakes in Roháčska dolina, in the Western Tatras of the Orava region. They lie on terraces one above another, from the largest, lowest lake up to the highest at roughly 1,720 m. Grass and dwarf pine cover the floor of the cirque, and above it runs the jagged Roháče ridge with Ostrý Roháč and Plačlivé.

A popular circuit starts at the Ťatliakova chata hut and passes all four lakes and the Roháčsky waterfall. The Western Tatras catch plenty of rain, and storms build quickly over the ridge on summer afternoons. In a shower the lakes go dark, streams appear on the slopes, and cloud slides down from the peaks into the cirque.
