Zádiel Gorge separates the Zádiel plateau from Horný vrch in the Slovak Karst, near the village of Zádiel in eastern Slovakia. The Blatnica stream carved it out of limestone, and the gorge is about 300 m deep, with a floor only around 10 m wide at its narrowest. Its best known feature is Cukrová homoľa, the Sugar Loaf, a free-standing limestone tower about 105 m tall.

A trail follows the stream through the gorge, and the area belongs to Slovak Karst National Park, with warmth-loving plants and birds of prey. The climate here is drier and warmer than in the northern mountains, but summer storms come, and water runs down the pale cliffs and mist collects in the narrows.
